More of M. Dion's ignorance

Clearly the poor fellow...
...
Mr. Dion hinted NATO could take action in Pakistan, which has a porous border with Afghanistan, if the Pakistani government doesn't move to track terrorists.

"We are going to have to discuss that very actively if they (the Pakistanis) are not able to deal with it on their own. We could consider that option with the NATO forces in order to help Pakistan help us pacify Afghanistan," said Mr. Dion...
...is not aware of this:
Admiral: Pakistan OKs bigger U.S. role
Sometimes it's just easier when the US does it without waiting (forever) for NATO. The alliance is not exactly working smoothly in Afstan; how could it possibly do anything effective militarily in Pakistan?

And it's not like the US's wanting to work in Pakistan to help the Pakistanis deal with the bad guys is a surprise (December 26):

Nothing like open source intelligence.

So if I understand his "logic" it's wrong to be in one country where they have no unified C and C and the military has to resort to suicide bombs and the like but it's ok to be in a country that has unified C and C and a modern army (not to mention nukes) because......?

This current crop of Canadian federal politicians suck.
