....someone in power, saying out loud, what Canada'll be doing in Afghanistan post-2011 - this quote from Prime Minister Harper, buried at the end of a Canadian Press story earlier this week:

"Canada is not leaving Afghanistan; Canada will be transitioning from a predominantly military mission to a mission that will be a civilian humanitarian development mission after 2011 .... that transition's already in place."
