This is a bit off topic, but we ought to recognize tremendous gallantry of one of our Allies.

Dutch Army Special Forces (Korps Commandotroepen) Captain Marco Kroon has just been awarded the Dutch equivalent of the VC or Medal of Honor, their Military Order of William. This is the first award of the Dutch ultimate decoration earned after World War Two. Captain Kroon was decorated for his gallantry in leading Dutch Special Forces in action in Af-stan.

A hearty well done, Captain Kroon!
