Language matters

When it comes to hearts and minds - here, and in Afghanistan - language matters. A lot.

Christie Blatchford hammers it out in detail for those who haven't puzzled through the issue themselves over the years as I have.

Needless to say, you should read the whole thing.

Well, you could probably buy or lease something off the shelf quickly - I imagine that a general cargo vessel with a decent chopper pad could do the job if necessary?

Holdfast; I believe your comment is misfiled.

Christie does a great job of nailing it on the head. Can you imagine if Mr. Ayala was on a CF team and had handed Abdul Salem over to the Afghan army? The bleeding hearts at the Star would be demanding an inquiry branding Mr. Ayala the criminal while ignoring the fact there is one less terrrorist. Either way Ms Lloyd's excruciatingly painful death is left as a footnote.
