Afstan: More reasons to curse Mother Corpse

Further to this post, Peter Worthington of the Sun papers makes a very good general point:
CBC AWOL in Afghanistan

As if I needed another reason to curse the CBC. Worthington has been diligent over the years in getting the story out about Garth Pritchard's excellent documentaries while embedded with Canadian Soldiers. And he's rightly slammed the CBC for snubbing Pritchard time and again.

I'm as puzzled by the CBC's airing of parts of Scott Kesterson's At War as you are, although I'm glad they did. I'm a fan of Kesterson since he embedded with 2PPCLI in 2006 and was happy to see any mention of the work Canadian Forces were doing in Afghanistan, even if the CBC commentator was slanted to the CBC's left wing mea culpa bias of their audience.

I too would like to know what Kesterson's take is on the CBC doc.

I noticed you posted a question about the CBCs Kesterson airing to Vampire 6. If you don't mind a suggestion I think you might get a better reponse from Troy Steward at http://bouhammer.com/wordpress/.

I say this because he's walked in the shoes of Vampire 6 but he's back home in his civilian job and is a godd friend of Scott's and he's a big booster of the military getting it right in Afghanistan. He might even be able to hook you up with an interview with Scott.

Anyway keep up the good work at The Torch.

For anyone who reads this and is interested there is on Garth Pritchard video on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsfWPXC_XQo It's really well done and might bring a moist eye.
