My own son is six...

...and so I hope you'll forgive my fervour in saying I hope ISAF and the ASF track down the sick mother****ers who pulled this stunt and make sure they're not alive enough to try it again.

I'm not picky: any kind of dead will do.

those would be same sick thugs that Taliban Jacko the whacko wants to negotiate with. Uh huh.

Just a heads up Jack . . . at the opening ceremonies for those peace talks, if they give you a nice jacket to wear as a sign of friendship . . . check the pockets.

You got it, Fred.

On another topic, is the end near for the mad Mullah and Iamajerkoff? There sure have been a lot of riots there. The latest seems pretty huge and pretty serious. The police are not interfering. Go read the last two entries at Winston's The Spirit of Man for more info.

Fred, intimating that someone is mentally ill because they disagree with you, when you don't even know the person, seems to me to be the height of ignorance. Then again, it pretty much goes hand in hand with your childish name calling and "humor".

What I do find amusing is that, on the same blog that points out that Valcartier2007 and his idiot crew are morons if they think that anyone believes that the "Taliban" is anything more than a catch phrase, you seem to be doing the same thing.

Anyway, I think the best course of action for you is to continue to make parallels between a legally elected, secular humanist lefty politician in Canada (who gives every outward appearance of being a total pacifist) and a group of religious extremists who kill people for sport and show a blatant disregard for all life that isn't theirs.

Because, honestly now, what better way is there to show the nuance and intelligence to your argument than to make yourself look like an utter buffoon?

I suppose there-in lies the difference between your style of "discourse" and that of Mark and BB, I don't always agree with them, they often say things about people I might agree with on other subjects, but they do it in a way that makes it so that one can respect them.

What you've done is basically suggest the following: Jack Layton is a terrorist, extremist thug ergo anyone who agrees with him (that would be 17.44% of the population) are also terrorists, extremist thugs.

Good job. Bravo. Yay you!

Oh, since I have to go out of my way to prove that I'm sane around here, clearly everyone involved in strapping the bomb on the kid (assuming this is a bona-fide story) should be rounded up and shot.

Then revived and shot some more.

Seriously, the whole issue of even supposedly "volunteered" child soldiers (I mean, how much of a volunteer can anyone be when the damn clip on the weapon they are firing is longer than their arm?) pisses me off so much it's not even funny, but forcing a kid into a bomb vest?

It's times like this that I really hope I'm wrong and that there is a heaven and hell.. so that people like that can rot forever.
