Submarine news that ain't

This was reported last August. Why can reporters not realize that "Documents obtained under the Access to Information Act" may not actually be worth a story?

I guess some covering the CF still don't read The Torch.

My understanding is that to be a journalist means to loudly trumpet in a voice tinged with awe and wonderment that the sun, indeed, did rise the next day. Next they'll discover that navel gazing does not mean standing on some frigid coast counting ships travelling by.
