Look to the Mother Country

Apparently the Australian Defence Forces will be recruiting hundreds of British Forces personnel, given the news of 11,000 voluntary and enforced reductions in the UK military over the next few months. All will gain permanent residency status immediately, along with a promise of an expedited process towards gaining Australian citizenship. This makes emminent sense, and begs the question if Canada's challenges for rapid recruitment is, or would consider, following a similar path.
