Mourning with pride

Cpl Paul James Davis has been killed in Afghanistan.

Cpl. Davis, a married father of two, was on a routine patrol when the LAV-III (light-armoured vehicle) ran off the road and flipped over. Six other soldiers and a local Afghan interpreter were injured in the accident. Two of the soldiers remain in critical condition.

We mourn the loss of Cpl Davis, and hope his family and friends find some small solace in our heartfelt condolences.

We wish his comrades in arms the will and means to accomplish their mission and return home safely.
