Canada, Afstan and UN peacekeeping: Events in Ottawa--the good and...

The good:
...

Please join us for a presentation from the Canada-Afghanistan Solidarity Committee on a vision for Canada’s rededication o Afghan reconstruction, human rights and democracy, post 2011. We will be presenting a variety of Afghan and Canadian speakers, as well as a panel discussion. Then, we will be having a cocktail reception as a fundraiswer for the Afghan-Canadian Community Centre, which runs a school in Kandahar for boys and girls.

We feel this is a very important event - we cannot abandon the Afghan people, and we cannot let the Taliban take over Afghanistan.
