Senior Liberal: CF "may have been committing war crimes"

You be the judge (good on the CBC for putting this up, with video):
...here's a transcript of an exchange between [John] McCallum [Liberal finance critic, check the photo top right, hurl] and host Suhana Meharchand in what appeared to be a pretty rull-of-the-mill interview on the Liberals' new anti-prorogation ads, until...:

McCallum: "There was an outcry among Canadians against this undemocratic action. So we're also concerned about that. But we can walk and chew gum at the same time. We can be concerned about prorogation and concerned about the economy and jobs."

Meharchand: "And concerned about Afghanistan, which is what this first ad really deals with. If you had to weigh it, John, Afghanistan and issues there over human rights and torture, etcetera, versus jobs here at home, the economy, feeding your name, getting your kids to school, what's the bigger weight for Canadians?"

McCallum: "I think the bigger weight is bread-and-butter issues, jobs and getting your children to school and all of those things. But I also think Canadians do care about democracy and about the high-handed, undemocratic attitude and actions of this government, and I think proroguing adds to the total character picture of Mr. Harper, and the fact that they may have been committing war crimes, handing over detainees knowing that they were very likely to be tortured, that is a war crime. And the fact that they're covering it up, I think many Canadians do care about those things as well as caring about economic issues."

Iggy said the same thing, so did Dosanjh and liberal scumdog Kinsella.

Can the Liberals actually be so stupid, so careless, so pathetic as to believe these statements they make?

The tragic irony of this video clip of a senior Liberal accusing our soldiers of War Crimes playing on the same day CBC video showed funerals for Canadian soldiers will not be lost on Canadians.

A despicable, cheap, tawdry attempt by Liberals at attacking the government by using a snivelling drive by smear of our troops in the field. The political attack is as pathetic as the Liberal Party is dishonest, cheap and morally corrupt.

Just another reason for Canadians to despise Liberals.
