Shock! Rideau Institute exposed!

Steven Staples' front for his real love, Ceasefire.ca ("Using the Internet, the institute designs and implements several on-line communication and advocacy programs such as Ceasefire.ca and Rightoncanada.ca"), is often described in our media along lines like this:
...the Rideau Institute, a think-tank which often has been critical of Canadian defence policy...
This story actually gets it pretty right:
...the Rideau Institute, which has opposed the Afghan war and large-scale defence spending...
Though no need for the "has". It just plain opposes--past, present and future, regardless of the situation or facts. And it might have been worth including this aspect:
...the Rideau Institute, a left-leaning public-policy group...
"Far" left-leaning, I'd say.

Rather than think of it in terms of Left or Right, (As easy as that is) I prefer to think of the Rideau Institute as being a tone deaf organization that believes the Peace is worth any price, including the deaths of millions of innocent people.

Their blind passion for Peace at Any Price provides them with some warm comfy moralistic fur that makes them feel better while insulting them from the ugly and brutal realities of our world.

Peace ? They can't handle real Peace, they just want us ll to see what wonderful little moralists they are, how idealistic they can be.

So while countless women and children die at the hands of murdering warlords, they can mock and make fun of good honest soldiers who actually bring peace the old fashioned way.
