Not the sort of headline you'll see in our papers
Nor one that the CF would like to see, I suspect, what with Canadian squeamishness. Video too. Ah, those Brit tabloids:

Athiest Missionary, I pity you.
Regardless of whether you believe in God or not, the idea that there are things bigger than yourself, things worth sacrificing everything up to and including your life for, is one of the qualities that keeps humankind moving forward. That you don't seem to understand that makes you a poorer man.
You say none of us have the right to leave our kids without a parent. What a load of tripe. The moment of our death is rarely of our choosing. There is no such "right" to a parent. I have two small children, and while I hope to see their kids and their grandkids born, I know that's not my "right." I also know deep in my core that if I was ever in a position to save their life by sacrificing my own, I would.
Heavens, have you even thought about the consequences of your plea? Cops leave the house every day with the risk of violent death. Firemen too. Would you have each of them conscientiously object and refuse to do their duty as well? Doctors and nurses exposed to infectious diseases. Aid workers going into dangerous places.
Hell, Martin Luther King could have been much safer staying home.
The world you envision is a devalued one, and one I wouldn't see my own kids grow up in - with me or not.
