Anyone else concerned about this fellow's carping in a public space about the G-Wagen? I'm not sure his comments indicating a lack of confidence in Canadian kit are appropriate from someone in his position.
Bitch internally all you want; send your concerns up the chain if you want; but don't post complaints about the shortcomings of your equipment where the enemy can find them.

I'd certainly like to see the military issue some guidelines and let the troops blog. What happens if someone posts soldier's emails home? I guess they'd have to do it anonymously.

Looks like someone shared your concerns. The blog is empty now. The posts/archives are gone.
That's too bad. It shouldn't be an all-or-nothing proposition. Then again, when was the military bureaucracy ever known for subtlety?

Lol - ya subtle is not exactly the first thing that jumps to mind when thinking of the military.
Just saw this article in the Star.
I'd certainly like to see the military issue some guidelines and let the troops blog. What happens if someone posts soldier's emails home? I guess they'd have to do it anonymously.
